Ei bro hang in there, I believe all of us does and did asked ourselves whether we are choosing the correct path. After all in engineering no doubt it is tiring and dry. Lack of excitement with no chicks around, yea, it is harsh. But hey, I believe you are doing good but maybe your standard and requirement for yourself is high and that is why you are feeling stress now. Anyhow be strong, and about skipping class hey it is human nature and well we are in University now, it happens naturally!!! Haha.. You have my support bro, just hang in there.. 爱你所选 is such a nice quote @_@ and so true. I mean this is smtg u'll do for maybe 30-40 years? So why not pick smtg u truly enjoy. Try talking to ur parents, ask them what they think and u'll oso know whether they can afford sending you to another uni n stuff. Talking to them is a start, so at least they know, and if you're really determined about chging course then they might let u =) Don't stay silent about it. They deserve to know too.

y don u try to discuss wif ur parents...choose the course u like...reli...money u can earn back...but if u choose wrong course = cant study well = cant get a job(jobless) = no income...den lagi cham then u waste bout 25k to study that long...and other course also got job de...dun think other course no job to do lo...kelian tau @@...so choose wat u think is right...choose wat u like...before its 2 late...ganbatte!!!^^

Seems like I inspired a few people to start considering whether they are taking on the course that they really want. Somehow, I feel quite fearful to give advice in this matter, cause even me myself is unsure whether am I taking the right decision.
I read some of the previous comments. Yea, first thing you need to do, if you really considering to switch, is actually talking this matter to your parents. Spend some time and analyse. Find out further details on the new course you are interested in.
Definitely we are not expecting easy things in the new course, but hope that with our passion and interest will help you to struggle through all those tough times.
However, there's many factor to consider. Funding wise, peoples's comment on you, ... are all unavoidable. Anyway, hope you get through this hard time soon. Good luck!
